The blog that I will blog is about Ms. Jeanne Sacabin’s Blog. I like Jeanne’s blog because she has the ability to attract readers in the way she writes. In her blog she first wrote about her best asset. Then
In her blog my most favorite is her escapade in going to Tinago Falls. That was really sweet. There, they celebrated their monthsary in such very wonderful place. It amazed me how the she and her boyfriend explored the place. She described how far the trip was and how they were amazed by the view. Then she also writes about her experiences with her love ones whic is really nice.

The Term paper which is related to the topic of my Term Paper is Mr. Ranulfo Mayol’s topic. His topic is about Using Wind power as an alternative energy source. Our topics are similarly a like in a way that we both discussed about Wind Power Energy. Mr. mayol discussed in his paper that Wind Energy must be used. While my research is proposing not to use wind power as an alternative energy source due to its disadvantages.
In his term paper, he stated factors why wind energy must be used as an alternative energy source. But obviously my term paper asserts that Wind power must not be used. But the factors and points that Mr. Mayol is pointing out are good. he stated well the reasons why we must reduce the global independence of fossil fuel. He also pointed out that by using wind power
the government would be able to save money. He also provided reasons the harmful effects of using fossil fuel to our environment. The points and ideas that he included in his term paper are well supported. His topic about wind energy is also interesting in a way that all of us can relate becsuse unfortunately we are facing Energy Crisis now. That is why In like what Mr. mayol wrote in his term paper.
My topic and his topic oppose each other, but we have the same one point. And that is to use alternative Energy instead of using fossil fuel.

Music. It has always been essential in our lives. Not just as a way of entertainment and enjoyment but rather also a way of expressing our selves. Nowadays there are many kinds of music. We have R&B, alternative, rock and pop music. Especially to us youngsters, these kinds of music are what we patronize.
For me there’s one R & B singer that makes me sing whenever I hear his voice on the radio. The Music of Bruno Mars is what makes me amaze presently. The first song that I heard from this half Filipino singer is the song entitled “Nothin’ on you” where he just sang the chorus. It was just the chorus part but when I heard him sang, I admit. I did fell inlove with his very calming and soothing voice. Because even before I do listen to R&B songs but after a couple of days, I find those songs boring already. But Bruno Mars’ songs were different. Even though I keep on replaying his songs on my cell phone, I never get bored. playing his songs all over again and again. As a matter of fact, while writing this, I’m listening to his songs. I just find his voice so calming and relaxing. It feels like I’m floating in the air when I seriously listen to his songs especially the one entitled “Grenade”. I do love the way he sang the line… “Yes I would die for you baby, but you won’t do the same...” Geeeez. I’m so addicted to his voice. Whenever I have problems either in home or school, I just put my earphones on. And listen to Bruno Mars’ songs. Listening to his songs makes me proud to that we Filipinos are indeed talented. Knowing that Bruno Mars is a half pinoy singer. That is one of the main resons why I adore this guy. His songs are so relaxing to hear. For me the way he sings his songs is just so fantastic. That’s it. The music that rocks  my playlist is the Music of BRUNO MARS. J

Each one of us is created by God on our own special way. I believe that nobody in this world is ugly. That’s why each of us has our own assets. Assets that serve as mark of who we are in terms of our physical appearances and who we really are inside and out.

If you’ll ask me what’s my best asset? Well actually, I really don’t have an idea. But for the close people around me just like my friends, they would always say that my smile is my best asset. I really wonder why they concluded that a simple gesture like my smile will be the best asset that I have.

My friends noticed that I’m an optimistic person. Whenever they encounter problems, they always hear me say..” sooos! Madala rana og smile uyy!..” Then, after saying that I always share a smile. A smile that may seem simple but for them it means a lot. Even I myself too believe that indeed I’m an optimistic person. Despite of the problems I encounter everyday; I know that a simple smile could brighten up the day. But being optimistic doesn’t actually mean that we can always smile all of the time. I may encounter bigger problems but as an optimistic person I know I can handle that in a positive way. As a believer of God, I know that all things happen for a particular reason. So once I have a problem I try my best to encourage myself that this hardships will just pass. So as I wake up each day I manage to smile to brighten up my day. A smile for me serves as a ritual that lets me look at life in a brighter and positive manner.

As a saying goes; “ A day without a smile, is a day wasted”. Humans as social beings, we should share smile to anyone. That gesture may be simple but who knows? Maybe a simple and little smile means everything and may change someone's view on life.

Last December year 2009, I and my cousins went to Davao city. It was a very memorable escapade in a sense that we traveled there on our own without our parents. We planned to go there because my other cousin was managing a local band that time and she wants us to watch their first concert. So without hesitations, we grabbed the opportunity of traveling by our own.

It was exactly nine o’clock in the evening when we left from Lugait going to Cagayan de Oro city. We stayed in my auntie’s apartment and spent a night there to prepare some things for the trip. We woke up six o’clock in the morning and rode a bus going to Davao City.

On the trip, my eyes were awakened by the beautiful views and sceneries found in Bukidnon The fogs above the green and big mountains, the zigzag roads, and the over looking views. By that time, we were still on the bus and quite far from our destination but on our way was indeed an amazing experience. Our eyes were filled with beautiful places that wiped the boredom that we felt on the trip.

We arrived in Davao city at 11:45 in the morning. Then we rode on a tricycle for about 5 minutes on our way to the subdivision where my auntie’s house is located. It’s my very first time to be there in Davao city, and indeed the city was so big and full of establishments. There were busy roads here and there, business establishment everywhere and the people walking on the roads seems to be very busy. Just like any city I have gone,  Davao was very different. The atmosphere was quite delightful and the people were speaking in tagalong. I was shocked when I heard the driver saying..” Saan po kayo bababa? ..Ah malapit lang ‘yun dito..” Because I didn’t expect that Davaoenyos were tagalong speaking, aside from that in every corner of Davao you’ll always see a Durian store. Selling foods out of Durian fruit and any stuffs like key chains, Durian lotions and many more. When we arrived in my auntie’s house, we ate our lunch and decided to take a rest before touring around.

On our first night there, we watched the concert that was the very reason why we went in Davao. It was a rock concert that ended until eleven in the evening. The concert really made us so delighted that we didn’t even noticed that it was almost midnight. We woke up nine in the morning and decided to tour the city. First, we went to SM Mall Davao. It was too big than I thought. It was 4 times bigger than that in Cagayan de Oro. Then we went to Yungaren. That place was similar to Divisoria of Cagayan de Oro but it was bigger and the products sold there was cheaper. We brought clothes, souvenir items and specialty foods of Davao. It was my favorite spot because even if you have a small penny on your wallet, still you can shop things that can make you smile. Then by eight inb the evening we arrived in Davao City’s People’s park. The biggest and widest park I have gone in. People’s park was decorated  with  colorful Christmas lights, dancing water fountains, big statues and replicas of Davao’s Culture. There we ate street foods that can only be found in Davao just like my favorite longga burger. Then we enjoyed the joy ride that toured us around the city.

On our second day we went to the Sea Wall. It was Davao’s small version of Manila Bay. It has its bay walk and a replica statue of David. Sharks and other species of fishes were also one of the main attractions there. Then by the afternoon we attended the mass. During our last day there, we went to Jack’s Ridge. It was an over looking spot where you’d be able to see the whole city of Davao. We also enjoyed touring around the area that was filled of cozy coffee shops and souvenir shops. There was also a family spring pool that we indeed enjoyed a lot.

We spent almost four days in Davao City, it was too short but we really enjoyed that experience. On our way home we rode a bus 11 in the morning  and took a rest in Cagayan de Oro City then came back in Lugait at exactly 6 in the evening.
